Dealing with life’s crisis can be overwhelming, but it is not something you have to do alone. The counseling service available at Goodland Regional Medical Center offers help with depression, anxiety, coping with terminal illness, eating disorders, substance abuse, family conflict, life transitions, divorce, conflict mediation, pain management and many other life challenges. Counseling services are provided by graduate level interns enrolled in the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Masters of Arts in Counseling and Human Services Program. These “counselors-in-training” are supervised by licensed professional counselor Rhonda Williams. GRMC works in collaboration with UCCS to offer counseling services one day each week through its Specialty Clinic. Two counselors, Daryl Miller and Anne Hadaway, currently come to Goodland each Thursday. Counseling is an important aspect to mental health and wellness. Life creates many challenges that can take a toll on your overall well-being. A key to a healthy and happy life is taking care of your physical and mental health. All information shared in the counseling sessions is held in strict confidentiality and sessions are held in private offices. To schedule an appointment, please call (785) 890-6030. |
