BEEing Exceptional Every-day
The hospital BEE (Being Exceptional Everyday) Award honors non-nursing staff and support team members who provide outstanding patient care. Created as a companion to the nursing DAISY Award, it symbolizes that nurses cannot survive without their team—just as a daisy cannot survive without a bee.
The BEE Award is given monthly to a non-nursing staff member who personifies GRMC goal to provide excellence in the patient experience. This award echoes The DAISY Award because every DAISY needs a BEE.
Recipients of The BEE Award demonstrate the five PETAL principles:
- Professionalism
